In 2005, MidAtlantic Cardiovascular Associates formed a non-profit foundation to benefit those less fortunate suffering from cardiovascular disease.  MidAtlantic, with support from partners in the pharmaceutical and medical device fields, provide direct assistance to the patients who cannot afford or access healthcare benefits or prescriptions. 

 

Our doctors are always there when patients need them, but they can only do so much for patients whose healthcare needs go beyond cardiovascular consultation and medical procedures. Without the means for proper prescription drugs and medical devices, patients cannot benefit from the medical directives given to them by their physicians. This has always been a frustration of our physicians, until now.

Our mission is to promote advances in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.  The Foundation’s programs and initiatives are anchored in three complimentary principles: patient care, education and research.
